Latin American Music (LAMCO) offers a wide variety of songs and styles for various purposes. Our Licensing Department is willing and able to help you get the song that better suits your music business or projects.

Principal songs

FOR MECHANICAL REPRODUCTIONS

* What kind of license do I need to release music CD?
A mechanical license for each song is required in order to release a music CD.You may obtain one from our publishing company. Please fill and submit form # III.

* When do I have to pay for this license?

Payments and reports for mechanical licenses are submitted quarterly or you may arrange a special flat rate* to be paid prior to the first release of the material. *Subject to our Publishing approval.

FOR ADVERTISING

* What kind of license do I need for adverting purposes?
Depending on the media you will advertise in, you will need a specific license. Simply fill the quotation request form (form # VI and form VII). We will contact you as soon as possible.

* When do I have to pay for this license?
Payment is required prior to the first public exhibition of the adverting unless prior payments arrangements are agreed by written form.

* What if do not find the appropriate song for my project?
We will be pleased to help you find the most convenient song for your project. Simply fill the quotation request form; adding any number of pages with well-detailed information (form # VI) and send us at you best convenience. We will contact you as soon as possible to suggest some songs that may possibly work for your project.

If you already know the song you want to use, you may submit (form # VI). We will contact you as soon as possible in order to work on your request.

FOR TV AND FILMS

* What kind of license do I need for TV programs and/or film purposes?

You will need Synchronization and a master rights license. You can obtain a Synchronization license from our publishing company. This license will allow you to use the word and the music of a song. For this purpose; simply fill the quotation request form (form # V) We will contact you as soon as possible. (To obtain a master rights license you have to contact the record label of the particular version you wish to use)


* When do I have to pay for this license?
Payment is required prior to the first public exhibition of the TV program and/or film unless prior payments arrangements are agreed by written form.

OTHER LICENSINGS

Latin American Music is willing and able to help you get the song that better suits your music business or projects. If you use music in CD ROM’s; Videos; Books; Magazines; Stage Plays; Ringtones; Midis; Interactive media; Karaokes; etc this is the place you need to get license from.
